Bandak Lens ring joint gaskets are manufactured in accordance with DIN 2696, providing the engineer with a high integrity, high pressure and temperature seal for special applications.Lens rings have a spherical surface and are suitable for use with conical flange faces. So other styles are available on request.

As the standard, the gasket material should be softer than the flange material, thus ensuring that the applied compressive load leads to the elastic and plastic deformation of the lens ring and not the flange sealing face

As with all metallic joints, the re-use of lens rings is not recommended.
